Budget season is coming up, and most of the work that shapes whether leadership approves your business case happens long before you make a presentation.

Join Jaclyn Braga, Director of Marketing & Business Development at Morse, and Emily Paul, Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer at Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady, for a discussion on how to build a successful business case for legal technology, moderated by Amber Elliott, Client Services Director at Nexl.

In the session, our speakers will discuss:

  • How to build consensus on a problem in the months before the budget meeting
  • How to present costs, including the price of software and the opportunity cost of continuing with the status quo
  • Making a credible case when your firm has no data to point to
  • Setting expectations on adoption and results without overpromising
  • The role partner champions play and how to respond when someone pushes an alternative tool
  • What to do in the first 90 days to show results, and what to report back to leadership

Whether you are preparing your firm's first technology request or refining a case you have made before, this session will give you a practical approach to use this budget season.
