This online session is for teachers, practitioners and support staff and will provide advice and guidance on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within a school or college setting. We'll discuss the characteristics, traits and behaviours that might occur in an education setting, how to support emotional dysregulation, how school's can help autistic young people with sensory issues and also how to help autistic adolescents make and maintain friendships and relationships.

Dr Sarah-Jane Knight, who has worked in outpatient and inpatient services in CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and now within her private practice, Commune Psychology. Sarah-Jane provides psychology consultation to specialist education, therapeutic and child residential services and so we’re pleased to have her on board for this talk.
