Most operational risk registers are lists. They record what could go wrong and which controls exist, but not why those controls will hold, or what happens when one of them quietly degrades. When a regulator asks whether your barriers are actually working, the answer still gets assembled by hand.

Risk Bowties bring scenario-based risk modelling into Centrik. One hazardous scenario sits at the centre, with the threats that could cause it, the consequences if it happens, and every preventive and recovery barrier in between. Safety reports, compliance audits, manuals and training currency link to barriers, so their health and effectiveness update from your live operational data. It is built on the risks you already hold: no migration, and your risk register, hazard log and heatmaps carry on working unchanged.

Alongside it, Centrik Smart Suggestions is live. Three AI features across Safety and Compliance that cut manual triage and keep your data consistent, while every decision stays with your officers and auditors.

**In this session**

1. What a bowtie shows that a risk register cannot, and when it is worth the effort
2. Live demo: building a bowtie, modelling the escalation factors that degrade a barrier, and assessing a barrier from a real occurrence
3. How barrier health and effectiveness are calculated from your audits, training, documents and occurrence data, and how they roll up
4. The three Smart Suggestions AI features: Same Event or Hazard Detection, Suggested Categorisation, and Repeat Findings Detection
5. A first look at what is coming next in Centrik AI

Part of TrustFlight's product presentation week, 28 September to 1 October 2026. Register even if you cannot attend live: every registrant receives the recording.
