# From Reactor Alarm to Root Cause

## A Free, Live, Hands-On Workshop Using Industrial Data and AI

A chemical reactor has shut down. Multiple alarms occurred across the process, and product quality fell below specification.

What happened first? How did the problem spread? And what was the most likely root cause?

Join us on Thursday, October 8, to investigate the incident using TDengine’s asset-centric visualization and AI-powered insights.

## **During this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to:**

* Navigate industrial data through an asset hierarchy
* Build a dashboard using data from related equipment
* Compare operational trends on a common timeline
* Identify the earliest abnormal condition and follow its downstream impact
* Use AI insights to produce an evidence-based root-cause analysis

##

## Prepare Before the Workshop

To participate hands-on:

1. Install **TDengine All-in-One.**
2. Open **Admin Console → Sample Data**.
3. Load **Chemical Reactor Batch Analysis**.

[View the TDengine All-in-One installation guide](https://idmpdocs.tdengine.com/administration/all-in-one-deploy/)

Please complete the setup **before Thursday** so we can begin the investigation immediately.

If you cannot finish the installation, you can still attend and follow the live demonstration.

TDengine is free forever for deployments with up to 5,000 tags, including production use. For more information, please visit [TDengine Free Tier](https://tdengine.com/free-tier/).
