Merchkit

Growing on Wayfair means giving shoppers complete, accurate product information while getting new collections live on time. For many supplier teams, that still involves gathering factory documentation, filling class-specific attributes, and reworking content across spreadsheets. How much of that work can now be automated?

Join Nick, Catalog Team & Merchandising Operations @ Wayfair as well as Matt, an ecommerce manager for furniture brands and an active user of our new integration, alongside our own Bijan from Merchkit, for a practical look at automating your Wayfair catalog.

Nick will introduce the Wayfair Catalog API and what it enables for suppliers. Matt will share his experience managing the catalog process, and Merchkit will demonstrate the workflow from existing supplier materials to a Wayfair-ready listing, showing where automation steps in and where your team still needs to review the data.

In this session, we’ll cover:

* **Preparing complete product records:** Turn factory spec sheets, product PDFs, and factory photography into class-specific attributes and content.
* **Reviewing the details:** Map supplier terminology to Wayfair’s accepted values, trace information back to its source, and identify genuine gaps before publishing.
* **Publishing through the Catalog API:** See how product creation, attribute updates, and media fit into one catalog workflow.
* **Improving content after launch:** Use richer attributes, descriptions, and imagery as well as Waymore content creation to support product discoverability and conversion.

Built for ecommerce, merchandising, and catalog teams at furniture and home brands selling on Wayfair or preparing to launch.
