The Denim Deal is a global foundation that acts as a catalyst for public-private collaboration. Our mission is to close the loop in denim by scaling the use of post-consumer recycled (POCR) cotton in the denim industry.

Denim Deal

Join our next Denim Deal webinar hosted by Green Story to explore what the EU EmpCo rules mean for environmental claims across the fashion and denim value chain.

During the session, Green Story will introduce **The Claim Thermometer**, a practical guide designed to help sustainability, product, marketing, and legal teams assess how environmental claims are communicated.

The webinar will look at nine common claims across banned, risky, and defensible zones, with before-and-after examples for carbon and water claims. It will also explore the evidence that should sit behind each claim and the checks teams should complete before publishing environmental messaging.

Participants will gain insight into:

* What the EU EmpCo rules mean for environmental communication
* How to identify banned, risky, and more defensible claims
* How carbon and water claims can be made more specific and evidence-based
* What evidence should sit behind an environmental claim
* What teams should check before publishing environmental messaging

Ahead of the webinar, participants can also download Green Story’s free **Claim Thermometer** cheatsheet and use it as a practical reference for their teams.

Because credible environmental communication is not only about the words used. It is also about the evidence, context, and clarity behind every claim.
