The recent US Supreme Court decision in Trump v Slaughter has raised further questions about the independence of the Federal Trade Commission, with potential implications for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). The framework remains in place for now, but with a decade of shifting ground from Safe Harbour to Privacy Shield to the DPF, it has reopened the same debate about the long-term stability of these data transfer mechanisms.

For privacy teams managing data across multiple jurisdictions, the challenge is not reacting to every headline but knowing what requires action, what should be monitored, and how to maintain a consistent global approach.

Join Pawel Wieckowski, DPO at the DPO Centre, and Lucie van Gils, Data Protection Lawyer at Aosphere, for our next Privacy Puzzle webinar, as they separate fact from speculation and explore what these developments mean for organisations managing international data flows.

What you’ll learn:

  • Why international data transfers are under scrutiny again
  • What organisations should be reviewing today
  • How to prepare for what’s next

The session will include an open Q&A, giving you the chance to raise your own questions directly with the speakers.
