A 60-minute peer conversation for recruitment agency leaders who are ready to do things differently in the South African market.

Traditional recruitment in South Africa is under pressure. Clients brief five agencies on the same role. Candidates send applications into silence. Fees are being squeezed while the workload keeps growing and somewhere in the middle, recruiters are losing the time they need to actually do their best work.

For this first South African edition of Recruitment Tech Talks, we're bringing together three practitioners who have decided to break that cycle; each in their own way. One has rebuilt her business model from the ground up. One has turned talent acquisition into a strategic audit. One has built the tools he wished he'd had when he was running a team of 22.

Between the CV overload, the client pressure and the AI noise, it's hard to know what actually works. We'll be talking about exactly that:

  • Can you still set boundaries with clients in a market this competitive — and actually win more by doing it?
  • Is AI screening ready for South African recruitment, or does it create more problems than it solves?
  • What does the future of the SA recruiter look like — and what do you need to do now to be part of it?

No miracle method. Just an honest conversation between professionals who are trying to work better using technology to get back the time that recruitment was never supposed to take from them.
