Prepare, Monitor and Report on Seasonal Campaigns through SEOmonitor

"Secret santa gifts" went from 14,800 searches in October to 135,000 in November. When did you start working on it?
Seasonal demand does not rise on one date. Black Friday and Christmas follow different curves, and so do the searches inside them. Set one deadline for everything and some topics get attention after their demand has already peaked.
The other half of the question is where you stand when demand rises: on Google, in AI Overviews and in AI Search, against the competitors chasing the same searches. A strong ranking can sit next to a weak AI mention rate, and each points to a different fix.
Agenda
š Part 1: Prepare. Is your tracking ready for the season?
- Coverage. Find the occasion and recipient searches missing from your campaign with Keyword Explorer and competitor gap analysis, then check business fit before you add them.
- Structure. Group by occasion and by recipient, so you can read Christmas as a whole and "gifts for her" on its own.
- Timing. Read the demand curve per topic and see which searches are already rising in October.
š Part 2: Investigate. What explains the gaps?
- Three surfaces, read separately. Google Visibility, AI Overview and AI Search mentions and citations, against each competitor. Leading on Google and trailing in AI answers are two different problems.
- The pages behind the gap. Keywords ranking 11 to 30 with real demand, cited pages that do not fit the search, cannibalisation, and the pages AI answers mention and cite.
š Part 3: Monitor and report. What moved, and what does it mean?
- Follow a movement to the evidence. The Visibility Trend Explainer shows which keywords moved a group to further analysis and find actionable next steps.
- Report demand, visibility and results side by side. Visibility describes presence movements; traffic and conversions describe results. MCP prompts and Looker Studio template to put a dashboard together for stakeholders.
Every step from above with its own MCP prompt. Run the same analysis on your own campaign in Claude or ChatGPT.
