Safe by Design: What it really takes to close the gaps in patient care
17
11:00 AM - 11:45 AM
According to the World Health Organisation, one in 10 patients is harmed during healthcare, and much of it is preventable. Fragmented information, gaps between systems and disconnected records are some of the biggest - and most overlooked - drivers of that risk.
This World Patient Safety Day, join us for a discussion on what it really takes to close those gaps, with our industry experts:
- Keith Grimes, former GP and founder of leading clinical safety and governance consultancy for digital health and AI, Curistica, who has worked with Semble on clinical safety
- Danny Glover, Founder of Orb, a digital health platform dedicated to unifying fragmented medical data across NHS and private care
- Angela Ounnas-O'Neill, former nurse and Clinical Safety Officer at Semble
- Jenny Williams, former GP and Senior Product Manager at Semble will be our Insights host
What you'll learn in this session:
- Why fragmented patient information is a genuine safety risk, not just an operational inconvenience
- Where information gaps most commonly occur, and the real-world impact when they go unaddressed
- The steps you can take to close these gaps in your own clinic
Whether you're rethinking how information flows through your practice or want to understand where the biggest safety risks lie, this session will give you expert insights and actionable steps to help close the gaps and build a safer, more connected practice.
