As organisations begin exploring AI agents that can act with limited human supervision, new questions are emerging for legal, privacy, compliance, and security teams.

In this webinar on November 26 from 10:00-10:45 am CET, Dan Rhodes, Senior Director, Legal & DPO at Granicus, will share his perspective as an in-house legal leader working closely with AI and advising the business on its practical use and risks.

Dan will unpack what makes agentic AI different from traditional generative AI – and whether it creates genuinely new risks or simply amplifies the ones we already know.

We'll explore questions around data protection, contracts, cybersecurity, procurement, and** how organisations can monitor and manage risk when the technology itself is designed to operate more independently.**

Together, we'll look at:

  • What agentic AI is – and how it differs from traditional generative AI
  • Whether agentic AI creates new risks or amplifies existing ones
  • Data protection challenges and whether they could slow adoption
  • Contractual considerations when working with agentic AI
  • Cybersecurity risks and the role of procurement in mitigating them
  • How to monitor and manage AI that operates with limited human supervision
