From Systems to Standards: Aligning DCF Implementation with the Accountability Framework initiative
11
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
A webinar by Meridia and the Accountability Framework initiative (AFi)
About the webinar
Many companies have now built deforestation- and conversion-free (DCF) systems, including chain of custody and monitoring, reporting and verification processes. The question now is whether those systems are robust enough to support credible DCF claims.
In this webinar, Lead Samberg, from the AFi will set out the accountability criteria behind credible DCF implementation and what companies should look for when they assess their existing systems.
Camila Marques from Meridia will show what that assessment looks like in practice: how farm-level data is checked against DCF commitments, where gaps commonly arise, and how companies can address them.
Who should attend
Sustainability, procurement, traceability and compliance professionals who have already started implementing DCF systems and now want to evaluate, strengthen and communicate them.
