ISO 42001: The AI Layer Your ISO 27001 Program Is Missing
19
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
If your organization has invested in ISO 27001, you already understand the value of a structured, risk-based approach to information security. But as AI becomes embedded in products, services, and internal operations, a new question is emerging: does your existing program address the risks that AI actually introduces?
ISO 42001 is the international standard for AI management systems. It establishes requirements for how organizations govern AI responsibly — addressing risk, transparency, accountability, and the ethical considerations that customers and regulators are increasingly asking about. For organizations with an existing ISO 27001 program, it is not a replacement. It is an extension — and one that many organizations will need sooner than they expect.
Join Insight Assurance and Trava Security on August 19 at 1:00 PM ET for a practical conversation on what ISO 42001 requires, how it fits alongside ISO 27001, and what organizations should be thinking about as AI governance expectations continue to grow.
Topics We'll Explore
• What ISO 42001 is and what it requires of organizations that develop or use AI
• How ISO 42001 complements an existing ISO 27001 program — and where the two standards intersect
• The customer and regulatory expectations driving demand for AI governance frameworks
• What a practical path to ISO 42001 certification looks like for organizations already operating under ISO 27001
• How independent assessment works under ISO 42001 and what organizations should prepare
Who Should Attend
This session is designed for security leaders, compliance managers, and risk professionals at organizations that hold or are pursuing ISO 27001 certification and are beginning to evaluate how to address AI governance — whether in response to customer requirements, regulatory developments, or internal risk priorities.
