The New Enterprise Risk Map: Why Compliance Functions Can No Longer Operate in Silos.
15
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Third party risk doesn't live in silos, so why do so many third party DD programmes? The same third party can carry sanctions and export control exposure, opaque beneficial ownership structures, links to cartels and organised crime, digital assets and illicit finance red flags, and forced labour or ESG indicators, or even in some cases all at once. Compliance functions that are siloed in this way risk missing the bigger picture and the interconnected nature of third party risk.
This session explores the need for new structures, frameworks and tools to address this reality and covers how innovative compliance teams are redesigning their due diligence programmes to keep up with the evolving nature of third party risk.
Join us for an informal, fireside chat on the evolving nature of third party risk, with opportunities for audience participation and Q&A.
