Don’t Leave Money on the Table: 179D Tax Savings for Contractors
20
5:00 PM - 5:45 PM
Hosted by eBacon + ICS Tax.
If you work in construction, development, or real estate, your projects may qualify for major tax deductions under Section 179D — but only if you know how to document them correctly.
In this session, ICS Tax breaks down the new IRS rules and savings opportunities, while eBacon shows how the payroll and compliance data you already manage can help secure those credits.
You’ll Learn:
- How the updated 179D deduction now offers up to $6 per sq. ft. in potential savings
- Which projects and roles qualify — from design-build to development teams
- How prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance tie directly to eligibility
- How to make your records audit-ready to claim credits confidently
We’ll Also Cover:
- §45L Energy Efficient Home Credit – Up to $5,000 per unit
- §48E Clean Electricity Investment Credit – Up to 70% of qualified costs
- §30C Alternative Fuel Vehicle Credit – Up to $100,000 per property
- §41 R&D Tax Credit – For innovation in design and construction
Join Alex Bagne, JD, CPA, MBA, CCSP, President of ICS Tax, LLC, and the eBacon team to learn how compliance and smart documentation can turn projects into serious tax savings.
