Nature Stress Testing module launch
10
9:30 AM - 10:15 AM
Nature degradation is increasingly recognized by regulators and central banks **as a source of systemic financial risk **— yet financial institutions and companies still lack an operational way to measure it across their own sites and portfolios, and to steer it.
Join us to discover the v1 of Darwin's Nature Stress Test module, which quantifies, at the site level, the financial loss potential induced by natural capital degradation under contrasted SSP-RCP pathways, across 5 natural assets: atmosphere, soil, freshwater, habitats, and species.
Built on the work of front-runners like the ECB and EthiFinance, and refined through a pilot with practitioners from consultancy, financial institutions, and academic research, the module is designed to make nature scenarios as actionable as climate scenarios are today.
Agenda (45 min):
- The work and the module — Antoine Vallier (Darwin Data)
- Pilot perspectives — Fabiola Graveaud (Blunomy) and Clément Molinier (Biodiversity expert)
- Live demo: a concrete use case on the platform, focused on concrete "so-what"
- Open Q&A
Join us on July, 10th to turn nature risk from a blind spot into a resilience strategy.
