Evolution, not revolution | Session two: Building strong foundations in every subject
Bedrock Learning
52:54
Evolution, not revolution is a two-part webinar series exploring how schools can strengthen literacy across the curriculum through purposeful, manageable change.
Across the series, Bedrock’s Director of Education, Olivia Sumpter, will be joined by expert guests to examine how the evolving Ofsted Inspection Framework and Curriculum and Assessment Review are reshaping expectations around language, reading, and inclusive teaching.
- Session one focuses on whole-school strategy – helping leaders establish a culture where literacy barriers are identified early and addressed systematically.
- Session two moves into classroom practice – exploring the curriculum and teaching approaches that build foundations in language, reading, and writing across every subject.
While each webinar can be attended independently, together they provide a complete framework for planning and embedding lasting literacy improvement.
