Cleanroom by Design Session #3: Aerospace Cleanrooms

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
A cleanroom is one of the most demanding environments a company will ever build — and one of the most consequential to get right. Cleanrooms by Design is a free monthly webinar series from Angstrom Technology, where our design-build experts break down what actually goes into a successful cleanroom, from the fundamentals to the specific challenges of your industry.
Whether you're planning your first controlled environment or expanding a facility you've run for years, each session is designed to be useful — no sales pitch, just three-plus decades of hard-earned cleanroom knowledge, explained clearly.
Session #3: Aerospace Cleanrooms
Aerospace manufacturing leaves no margin for error. A single particle on a lens, a trace of molecular contamination on an optical coating, or a stray static discharge near sensitive electronics can compromise components that are headed for orbit or flying at the edge of what's possible. The cleanrooms that protect this work have to perform to an exacting standard.
In this session of our Cleanrooms by Design series, Angstrom's experts examine what sets aerospace controlled environments apart. We'll look at the contamination challenges specific to optics and precision assembly, why molecular contamination matters as much as particulate in optical work, and the design considerations behind cleanrooms built for satellite, spacecraft, and high-precision aerospace components. You'll get a clear view of what it takes to design and build an environment that keeps critical aerospace work protected.
What we'll cover:
- The contamination risks unique to aerospace and space-grade manufacturing
- Why controlling both particulate and molecular contamination is critical
- Design considerations for precision assembly and sensitive electronics
- How the right cleanroom environment protects components built for demanding applications
Who should attend these webinars?
Anyone involved in planning, building, or operating a cleanroom — facility and operations managers, quality and compliance leads, engineers, and executives evaluating a new or expanded controlled environment. Content is accessible whether you're new to cleanrooms or deeply technical.
Is the series free?
Yes. Every session is free to attend, and registering gets you the live event plus the recording afterward.
What should I expect?
Each session runs about 45 minutes: a focused expert presentation followed by live Q&A, so you can ask about your own project. Can't make it live? Register anyway and we'll notify you when the recording is available.
Do I have to attend every session?
No. Each session stands on its own — register for the ones relevant to you. Many attendees start with the July foundations session and then join the industry sessions that match their work.
What if I can't attend live?
Register anyway. We'll send you the recording so you can watch on your own schedule.
