On 1 January 2027, Germany and the UAE both make B2B E-Invoicing mandatory, with two very different models. Both can run on the Peppol network, but while Germany relies on a decentralised, post-audit approach, the UAE focuses on near real-time reporting to the tax authority and a mandatory Accredited Service Provider on both sides of every invoice.

Because the two models work so differently, an integration built for one won't carry over to the other. For software vendors and large multinational enterprises serving both markets, getting this wrong means two roadmaps, two technical stacks and mounting technical debt.

This panel explains what each mandate requires and how to cover both markets without rebuilding your core. It draws on lessons from Italy, Europe's most mature E-Invoicing market, and on A-Cube's onboarding as a UAE Accredited Service Provider, going live in October 2026.
